Both pop star Britney Spears and actress Amanda Bynes have been under conservatorships and only recently released from their legal situations.
After waiving an adjudication hearing, 17-yearold Tyler Buck, of Eureka, appeared before Chief Judge David Ricke, via Zoom, last Wednesday, Dec. 20, where Buck entered a guilty plea to two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Martha Ann Shaw was born on November 30, 1928 on the family farm Northwest of Eureka. She was baptized in the Upper Fall River Lutheran Church at a young age. Her education was achieved at Hawthorne School, Piedmont Elementary and Eureka Elementary, graduating from the 8th Grade at Loy School and from Eureka High School in 1945. She attended College of Emporia and Wichita State University.
Joni Booth called the WELCA meeting to order on December 7, in the Bell Tower Room at the Christ Lutheran Church in Eureka. Four members answered roll call with a Bible verse.
