Madison Varsity and Junior Varsity teams all claimed wins over Crest last Tuesday, Dec. 19.
Increasing storage capabilities at home is a popular goal among many homeowners and renters. Despite how much space a person may have at home, there’s often a desire to have more or maximize the areas that are there. According to the Self-Storage Almanac, there are an estimated 51,206 storage facilities operating in the United States today, and MJ Partners Self-Storage Update says 11.1 percent of households currently rent at self-storage facilities. IBISWorld indicates the Canadian self-storage industry has grown at an average annual rate of 3.1 percent over the last five years.
Mayor Richard Clark called the December 4 meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with council members Martin Hunter, Erica Cordell, Jerrad Pope and Gary Harrod present. Also present was Clerk Joanna Hunter. Council member Derek Cookson was absent.

A special meeting of the Eureka City Council was held Monday, Dec. 18 to afford for the interview of an applicant for the City Administrator position.
With hopes of mirroring the Butler County Big Brothers/Big Sisters program, Crosswinds in Eureka is seeking volunteers that would like to serve in those roles. As the Butler County program doesn’t extend to Greenwood County, volunteers are needed to serve those children that are wishing to spend time with big brothers/big sisters.
With nearly 350 websites created for clients, Eureka’s Taylor Hunt was eager to assist Greenwood County with updating their website, a feat that was conquered earlier this fall.
