President Jeff Williams called Dec. 11, 2023 Madison/ Virgil USD 386 Board of Education meeting to order at 7 p.m. Roll call was answered by Williams, Jennifer Watts, Todd Pyle, Gary Kile, Dallas Luthi, Ty Gaines and Jannette Luthi. Also attending were Superintendent Tammy Baird, Kristy Johnson, Amanda Schild, Marcie Harrison, Kim Gaines, Amy Hind, Jim Lentz, Julie Buster, Alana Engle, Ryan Engle, Makenna Engle, Avery Miller, Lane Darbro, Lucie Celte’, Diane Williams and Justin Isch. Editor’s Note: Due to the court access portal not being able to be reached, court records were unable to be gathered. Herald staff plans to resume gathering Greenwood County court news (Civil Court, Criminal Court, Domestic Relations, Fish and Game, Limited Civil, Marriage License Applications, Probate Court, Small Claims, State Tax, Statutory Liens and Traffic Tickets) weekly once the system becomes available. As of last week, the system was to be back online; however, the public access portal at the Greenwood County Courthouse wasn’t available for searches to be conducted.
