Richard and Patricia (Inge) Soule will celebrate their 30th Wedding Anniversary on Tuesday, June 4. The couple was married in Eureka at the Christian and Congregational Church. They currently reside fulltime in Eureka spending the summers at their lake home on Eureka Lake.

During the Greenwood County Hospital (GWCH) Board of Trustees meeting held on Thursday, May 23, CEO Sandra Dickerson discussed ongoing work to transition the former CareArc dental office into a suitable space for medical examinations. Exam rooms have been closed in, drywall has gone up and flooring installation was completed last week. It is anticipated that the project will be finished within the next two weeks. Dickerson noted that, when work has finished, Dr. Mark Basham and Jennifer Eagleson, APRN, will move into the space.

The Susannah French Putney Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) held their monthly meeting May 17, at the Butler County Historical Society (BCHS) in El Dorado.

The Eureka Recreation Commission (ERC) held a routine monthly meeting last Wednesday, May 22, where brief updates were shared.
