Milton Daniel Mock, Sr. of Eureka, died on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center, in Wichita, at the age of 77.
I learned a powerful idea about community in an African refugee camp near Somalia. Our guide summed up their philosophy of a survival-based community with this Swahili phrase translated into English: “Today it’s me; tomorrow it’s you.”
