Parent Meetings Being Planned For EHS Winter Sports
The Madison Bulldog football team wrapped up the 2023 season with a big win on the road, at Flinthills, last Thursday night. The Bulldogs took control early, scoring four touchdowns and taking a 28-0 lead into the second quarter. The Bulldogs scored two more touchdowns in the second to take a 40-0 lead into halftime.
With a 46-22 win over Burlingame last Thursday night, the West Elk Patriot football team (8-1) will face Little River (7-2) this Friday, November 3, at 7 p.m., at home.
Lady Bulldog Lily Hudson competed at the 1A State Cross County meet amongst
West Elk’s Bryan Epperson placed 47th at the 2A State Boys Cross Country meet on Saturday, October 28, with a time of 18:13.5. A total of 101 boys competed in the race.
The Eureka Tornado football team concluded the 2023 season last Thursday, at Fredonia, with a 6-16 loss to the Yellowjackets.
The monthly meeting of the Harmony Sunflowers 4-H Club was held October 1, at the Christ Lutheran Church in Eureka and was led by Wylee Boulanger. The flag salute and 4-H Pledge were led by Duke Coulter and Noah Everly- Burtin. Roll call was “What do you cook for yourself?” and was answered by 18 members, four cloverbuds and two leaders.
