RevitalizeYC Launched Woodson County Community Survey

RevitalizeYC has launched a Woodson County Community Survey to gather data from Woodson County residents and visitors regarding demographics, economic development and tourism. RevitalizeYC has worked with Southwind District of K-State Research and Extension to administer the survey and compile the results into a report that will be beneficial to existing and future businesses and municipalities throughout Woodson County. The report will be very helpful to individuals wanting to start a new business, improve their existing business, organizations wanting to fund community projects and more as it can be used as supporting documentation for writing grants or kickstarting projects.

The report will be very helpful to individuals wanting to start a new business, improve their existing business, organizations wanting to fund community projects and more as it can be used as supporting documentation for writing grants or kickstarting projects.

The are four groups of people RevitalizeYC wants to hear from and the questions are tailored specifically to which category a person falls into:

• Woodson County residents (Yates Center, Toronto, Piqua and Neosho Falls)

• Visitors to Woodson County

• High School Students in USD366

• High School Students that are Woodson County residents, but not enrolled in USD366 (Homeschooled or attend another district) The adult survey will take approximately 10 minutes, with the high school survey taking approximately five minutes. This is the community’s opportunity to share feedback about what they love and about what they want for the future state of Woodson County.

The survey may be taken online by visiting RevitalizeYC.com. If you need assistance getting online to take it, the staff at the Yates Center and Toronto Public Libraries are available and happy to assist. Paper copies are available at Southwind Extension Office for those unable to get online. The survey will be open through May 31.

RevitalizeYC urges every Woodson County resident and frequent visitors from surrounding communities to take the survey so that your voice is heard and we can help all current and future businesses and organizations throughout the county.
