The eighth consecutive “Be Your Best” basketball camp was hosted by the Eureka Lady Tornado basketball team with head coach Shelly Hoyt leading the way. The camp was held last Monday-Thursday, June 3-6 at the Tornado Activity Center at Eureka Junior/Senior High School (EJSHS).
Twenty members of the Eureka High School class of 1979 gathered together on Saturday, June 1, at TNT Catering in Eureka for their 45th class reunion.

Eureka softball traveled to Lyndon last Monday, May 13 for a play-in game in the Lyndon Regional. The Lady Tornadoes collected four hits against Southern Lyon County, but were only able to get two runs across the plate and fell 2-15 to conclude their season.

The Eureka Tornado High School coaching staff will be hosting a Tornado Football Camp over the summer for kindergarten through high school age student-athletes.
The Eureka Tornado baseball team concluded their season last Wednesday, May 8, at Sedgwick, when they fell to Wichita-The Independent, 8-9, in the play-in game for the 2-1A Rosalia-Flinthills Regionals.
Eureka Track and Field traveled to Madison on April 26 and multiple athletes returned home with a medal.
Despite collecting 17 hits and 16 runs against the Wildcats of Yates Center last Thursday, May 2, the Tornado softball team fell to Yates Center, 7-18 and 9-11.
