The Eureka High School boys played three games last week, home against Olpe, at Chase County and home against Neodesha. Monday night they hosted the Olpe Eagles, a team they had played earlier this season in the Yates Center tournament. The results Monday were roughly the same as before, although the Tornadoes played better this time around. They still had 23 turnovers and shot 11 of 31 from the field, which together makes any win difficult to achieve. Although most players were available after the flu decimated the team last week, they still had to deal with the after-effects of it and were unable to match the intensity of the Eagles.
Peyton Hare had 6 points to lead the Tornadoes. Tyson Coon had 5, Tanner Biering and Brody Mitchell each had 4, Cole Ptacek had 3 and J.P. Guillaume added 2 to complete the scoring.

The Tornadoes then traveled to Chase County Tuesday night. They played much better, but lost 3255. The Tornadoes simply ran out of gas in the second half. This was mostly due to the after-effects of the flu and the lack of practice time to get their feet under them again.
Ptacek had 11 points for the Tornadoes, Laken Valentine had 10, Coon had 6, Nate Clark and Mitchell had two each and Biering added 1.
