Eureka softball traveled to Lyndon last Monday, May 13 for a play-in game in the Lyndon Regional. The Lady Tornadoes collected four hits against Southern Lyon County, but were only able to get two runs across the plate and fell 2-15 to conclude their season.

Services to honor the thousands of men and women who have defended the United States in war and peace will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka on Monday, May 27, Memorial Day. Volunteers are needed to assist with the following events: On Saturday, May 25, small flags will be placed on grave markers at Greenwood Cemetery. Volunteers should meet at the cemetery at 9 a.m.
