WELCA met Sept. 5 at the Eureka Christ Lutheran Church Bell Tower Room. In the absence of officers, Sue Erickson presided.
Grace Stacy gave devotions from Psalm “Why we Sing.”
Roll call was answered by four members with a Bible verse; Camille Frakes joined the group soon after.
Erickson, secretary, read the minutes of Aug. 1.
The new quilt is in the frames and quilting has begun.
Kids camp for Fall was held with 11 attending.
A card was signed for Margaret Spires, who was hospitalized after a fall. Sue Ellen will deliver her a bouquet and card signed by present members.
Progress on the UFR Country Church out house are still being discussed.
The Oct. 2 meeting will begin with devotions by Erickson, program by Stacy and refreshments by Pat Surber.
Erickson gave the program on The Little Things: small acts of love, faith and appreciation for the gifts of life.
Bible verses included Philippians 4:8; Genesis 1; I Thessalonians 5:18.
Refreshments were provided by Frakes and Stacy served coffee.
