Dharma Jean Dutton was born on February 17, 2004 to Sabrina Watts and the late Al Dutton in El Dorado. She passed away on October 5, 2023. She attended Eureka schools until her freshman year when she moved to McKensie, Tenn. She graduated from Henry County High School in Paris, Tenn. in May of 2022.
Intergenerational connections reduce loneliness and boost happiness for older adults. Children develop life skills and a sense of who they are. They can benefit heavily from interactions with previous generations. Children learn through interactions with other people. Humans are social beings, and the more variety of contacts children can have can teach them about themselves. This could be what they like, what they don’t like, and what other people have experienced.
What a busy, busy weekend! What a fun weekend though. Had a good turnout for our annual Alumni Banquet. The weather was cool, but not cold. That is if you’re heater was working.
The Verdigris Valley Foundation will be serving a biscuit and gravy breakfast on Saturday, October 21 at the Madison Sauder Center from 8 to 10 a.m. Proceeds from this event support the operation of the Center and projects for the community.

CLAY CENTER – Sandra was in her mid-20s when we attended the same church and were part of the singles group. She had a beautiful smile and a bright personality, but one day life came crashing down on her when she received word that her dad had killed himself. The news impacted our group as we grieved for her devastating loss.
