Patriot Boys Basketball faced Remington on Tuesday, Jan. 23.
Remington led by one after the first period, West Elk sitting 9-10. The Patriots kept the score tight to conclude the half trailing, 21-23. Remington was able to put some additional space between the scores in the second half, the Patriots down 34-39, as they went to the final quarter. At the buzzer, West Elk took a loss, 44-54. Scoring for the Patriot were: Maddex Moreno 13, Garett Usry 10, Kase Kill 8, Martin Shipley 5 and Trent Haag and Uriah Tillapaugh with 4 points each.
