On Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., an American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at the Madison High School. The annual blood drive is being held by the Madison High School National Honor Society. The drive will be held in the gymnasium of the school, located at 1500 Southwest Boulevard, in Madison.

Announce April Wedding Plans
The Harmony Sunflowers 4-H Club held their monthly meeting Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Christ Lutheran Church, in Eureka. Acting President Fisher Hibbs called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. Duke Coulter and Tavin Austin led the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H Pledge. Roll Call was “What is your favorite summer activity?” and was answered by 15 members, five cloverbuds, and three leaders.
The July meeting for the Fancy Mustangs 4-H Club was held July 25, at Eureka Downs. The club discussed fair set up and their clubs duties and schedules for the fair. Everybody was looking forward to the fair and having a great and successful weekend.
Hamilton City Council members convened for a special meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 20 for discussion of the following subjects: Waste Connections trash rate increase and review of alternative options, the water tower rehabilitation and modular/manufactured homes in relation to the ordinance drafting process.
This Labor Day weekend, two brothers who have served the Severy area throughout their careers will serve as this year’s Grand Marshalls. Louis and Carl Johnson both graduated from Severy High School (10 years apart) and after a short time, returned to the community to start their long-time careers.
