Fundraiser Next Tuesday To Benefit Lighthouse Team

2024-25 Marshall Elementary Student LighthouseTeam

A Pizza Hut fundraiser is being planned for Tuesday, Dec. 17, to assist the 2024-25 Student Lighthouse Team at Marshall Elementary (ME) School, in Eureka. ME’s Student Lighthouse Team has great ideas to improve the school. A “Student Lighthouse Team” is a group of students grades 4-6 selected for their leadership qualities. These individuals actively promote a positive school culture by embodying the “Leader in Me” principles. Often the initiatives include community service, school spirit building, and modeling responsible behavior, essentially acting as shining examples for their peers and representing the school in a positive light. ME has earned the distinguished honor of a “Lighthouse School.” There are only seven in the state of Kansas and ME is the only small, rural school to have earned this honor. They synergize to have a positive impact on students, staff, families and the community.

The members of ME Student Lighthouse Team are Stella Shivers, Hank Dehlinger, Paislee Morris, Fiona Jones, Brylee Perry, Charlie Lindamood, Cooper Del Pozzo, Preston Milner, Brystle Osborne, Molly Dehlinger, Franny Baxter, Bronwyn Hall, Mia Ptacek, Braxtyn Evenson, Jessn Ogden and Kasen Del Pozzo.

On Dec. 17, Pizza Hut of Eureka will donate 20% of the proceeds to the ME Student Lighthouse Team. Customers must mention the fundraiser when ordering. Monetary donations can be sent directly to Marshall Elementary School (with Student Lighthouse Team in the memo line) at 1015 N. Jefferson St., Eureka, KS 67045.
