How many of you all have seen any eagles lately? We see them occasionally between Toronto and Yates Center and between Yates Center and Iola. We saw one coming home from Eureka the other day and nearly every time I go to Fredonia (which has been twice a week lately due to physical therapy) we see 2-3 on either the way down or back.

Hamilton USD 390 Schools have released the first semester honor rolls. To be named on the high honor roll, students must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher with no grade below a “B.” Those students named to the regular honor roll have received a 3.0 GPA with no grade below a “C.” An (*) denotes all “As.”
The ECK Model T Ford Club meets the second Thursday of the month. The East Central Kansas Model T Ford Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 8, in the conference room of the Burlington Library. The Library is located on Highway 75 in Burlington. Lasagna will be served as the main entrée and drinks will be provided. Please bring a side dish to share with the meal which will be eaten before the meeting.
