The Livestock Judging Team of Lyle Perrier, Corinne Nelson, TJ Mills and Hannah Perrier were named State Champions at the 2024 Kansas FFA State Contests on April 30. H. Perrier was fifth high individual overall and sixth in oral reasons. L. Perrier claimed sixth high individual overall and ninth in oral reasons. Nelson won the oral reasons division. The team will represent the State of Kansas at the National Livestock Judging Contest in late October in Indianapolis, Ind.
The Eureka FFA Meats Evaluation Team finished Reserve State Champions. Team members are L. Perrier, H. Perrier, Addison Westerman and Mills. The following overall individual honors were received: L. Perrier third, Westerman fourth, and H. Perrier 10th. The Meats team will represent Kansas FFA at the National Western Roundup in Denver, Colo. in early January 2025.
