GW County is the 5th largest in Kansas 4. Only 4% of the Tallgrass Prairie remains in the world, and the majority of that is in the Flint Hills of Kansas.

Patience is Key to Meeting Goals

Patience is a virtue. That’s what we always hear anyway. Well it’s a virtue that can be hard to hold on to sometimes. At least in my experience. We have big plans that we can’t wait to come to fruition. We set goals and sometimes it’s hard to accept a slow go waiting for that goal to become a reality. We often think it’s all or nothing when it comes to goal-setting. We think we have to do this or that and stay hyper-focused. Well that’s not always necessarily the best or most successful way to achieve what you’re looking for.

It’s January and I have been watching the weather forecasts on television with increasing intensity. I listen, but often disagree with the forecast. So, I sit in my living room in front of the television set and talk back to the meteorologist. I don’t know when they stopped being weathermen and became meteorologist.
