The 13th annual Eureka Pro Rodeo was held over the weekend with a full slate of events for rodeo- goers.
VIRGIL - Betty “JoAnn” Ashlock of Virgil passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday morning, Aug. 6, 2024, at the age of 84.
Laura Jean (Zimmerman) Applegate age 77, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024.
With the rise of inflation, small businesses, including this one, have also had to make changes. TOPEKA – An evidentiary hearing planned for this week in the Kansas Gas Service rate case will now be a settlement hearing. The Kansas Corporation Commission approved the change at their business meeting last Thursday.
