Man Stabbed/Woman Arrested Following Early Morning Domestic

A Eureka woman was arrested during the early morning hours on Thursday, Nov. 28 for multiple charges, following a domestic that was originally called in at 1:21 a.m.

According to the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to 103 N. Mulberry Street, in Eureka, after receiving a 911 call, reporting a male individual had been stabbed in the leg during a suspected physical domestic.

Deputies arrived onscene at approximately 1:25 a.m. and were met by Eric Griffin who appeared to have an extreme injury to his leg. Greenwood County EMS responded to the scene and later took Griffin to the Greenwood County Hospital, in Eureka.

According to the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office, Amber Underwood was taken into custody and transported to the Greenwood County Jail for Aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and multiple drug charges. She is being held on a no-bond hold, until she sees a judge.

The investigation is still ongoing.
