The spookiest day of the year is quickly approaching and you’re probably already on your way to being knee deep in pumpkins, costumes, candy and creating great Halloween memories for your child!
This will be a brief column this week, as I hurry to type this and pack for an unexpected trip to the panhandle of Oklahoma. Wade’s brother Bill passed away on Saturday and his service is Tuesday morning in Keyes, Okla.

Dressing up for Halloween is one of the more enjoyable ways to celebrate the spooky season. It’s not uncommon for people to be planning their costumes well ahead of Halloween, and seeing as the pop-up retailer Spirit Halloween starts taking over vacant properties beginning the middle of August, it’s never too early to begin thinking about the thrills, chills and candy to come.
