The Salt Springs Township will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, October 25 at 7 p.m. This will be held at the Fall River Community Building.

– submitted by Brooke Gaines, reporter MADISON - To end the National 4-H Week celebration, the Madison Pacesetters 4-H Club took part in the Kansas 48-Hours of 4-H Service Challenge.

Stress is the body’s reaction to any change that requires an adjustment or response. It creates chemical reactions in our bodies, releasing cortisol, thickening our blood, increasing blood pressure, and more. If stress becomes long term, it can lead to the brain protecting itself by shrinking.

The spookiest day of the year is quickly approaching and you’re probably already on your way to being knee deep in pumpkins, costumes, candy and creating great Halloween memories for your child!

This will be a brief column this week, as I hurry to type this and pack for an unexpected trip to the panhandle of Oklahoma. Wade’s brother Bill passed away on Saturday and his service is Tuesday morning in Keyes, Okla.
