Did you get to see the Northern Lights Friday night? I forgot about them Friday night, until Saturday morning when I saw pictures on Facebook. I kept an eye out Saturday night for them, but there really wasn’t much to see.
Dillon and Montana Crane of Hamilton announce the birth of their first child, a daughter, Chloe Leann Crane.
The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place April 17, in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.
The Babson Midwest Memorial Foundation named nine Eureka High School (EJSHS) class of 2024 members and one Hamilton High School (HHS) class of 2024 member as the “Babson Scholars.”
Two Eureka seniors were honored last Tuesday, May 7 during the annual Tornado Awards assembly.

For more than four decades, Brenda Fox has been educating students in the Hamilton USD 390 district. This month, Fox will close her chapter of teaching Tigers at Hamilton and retire from the education field. She began teaching fourth-eighth grade math in Hamilton 44 years ago. The next 43 years, she would spend teaching third and fourth graders that graced the halls of Hamilton Elementary School. She also coached high school volleyball for 10 years, high school basketball, junior high track and junior high volleyball for one year each.
