Despite collecting 17 hits and 16 runs against the Wildcats of Yates Center last Thursday, May 2, the Tornado softball team fell to Yates Center, 7-18 and 9-11.
Eureka Track and Field traveled to Madison on April 26 and multiple athletes returned home with a medal.
The Tornadoes picked up their first win last Thursday, May 2, when they claimed a 9-7 victory over the Wildcats of Yates Center, at home.
Eureka golfers competed at two tournaments last week and Tornadoes claimed hardware at both.

The Greenwood County Annual fourth grade Water Festival has been happening for 20 years. The event was held at the Eureka City Park. Hamilton Elementary School and Marshall Elementary School, in Eureka participated on May 1.
Students from Eureka Junior/Senior High School and Hamilton Junior/Senior High School traveled to Emporia on Friday, May 3, for the Emporia State University Special Athletics Track and Field Day.
