Rebecca Dee (Henderson) Lindamood, 75, of Quincy, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, surrounded by her family at the Lindamood Ranch in Quincy. Becky was born on May 10, 1949, in Eureka, the daughter of Lonnie and Rosaline “Rosie” (Boone) Henderson. She was the oldest of four children. She attended school in Neal, Virgil, Hamilton and graduated high school in Eureka.

On August 26, 1967, Becky was united in marriage to Jack Dean Lindamood, in the Neal United Methodist Church, where they remain members. They made their home, raised their children and built the Lindamood Ranch as it is today. She later attended Emporia State University to study criminal sociology and held a 16-year career as a magistrate judge in Greenwood and Butler Counties.

Becky was an avid reader, loved quilting, flowers, gardening and loved the great state of Kansas and its history. She was a board member and volunteer of the Greenwood County Historical Society, Neal United Methodist Church, member of the Greenwood County Cattlewomen, Young Farmers and Ranchers since 1967, multiple quilting clubs, past Hamilton school board member, GWCH board, Friends of the Library, CASA, Farm Bureau, Extension Council and so many others. She was a huge supporter of 4-H, a past leader of the Fancy Mustangs 4-H club and recipient of the 4-H Alumni Award.

She is survived by her loving husband of (almost) 57 years, Jack, of the home; their three children and seven grandchildren: Matthew and wife, Dee Lindamood of Olathe and their son, Jackson; Diltz and wife, Jamie Lindamood of Eureka and their children Sydney, Henry, and Charlie; and Julie and husband, Matt Denner of Olathe and their children Ramsey, Quincy and Delaney; one brother, Kent Henderson of Hays; two sisters-in-law: Janet Henderson of Ellinwood and Kay (Lindamood) Sowers of Bartlesville, Okla.; one brother-in-law, Raymond and wife, Nelda Lindamood of Fort Worth, Texas and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Terry and Marty Henderson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2024, at Koup Family Funeral Home in Eureka. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka. The family will greet relatives and friends following the service at the Greenwood Hotel. Visitation hours are set from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the funeral home.

Becky loved flowers of all colors. She asked that acts of kindness be performed in her honor. Memorials may be made to the Greenwood County 4-H Foundation, Greenwood County Historical Society, Eureka Public Library or to the Greenwood County Hospital Foundation.
