Born on May 9, 1967, in Orange City, Calif., Kristine was the daughter of Alvin and Ruth (Galbraith) Metzger. She spent her formative years in Ponca City, Okla., where she graduated from local schools. Later in life, she moved to Wichita to be closer to family, ultimately settling in Piedmont.

On May 18, 2009, Kristine married Victor Gene Rollins, Jr. in Wichita, and together they created a loving home in Piedmont.

Kristine was a devoted individual whose greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones.

Rather than pursuing personal hobbies, she cherished creating lasting memories with family, particularly during family reunions.

She is survived by her husband, Victor Gene Rollins, Jr. of the home; daughter, Brielle Marie Austin of Suisun City, Calif.; her father, Alvin Metzger of Ponca City, Okla.; and two brothers, Mitch Koerner of Wichita; and Donnie Koerner of Hays.
