Ray was born on Sept. 25, 1938 to Father George Coble and Mother Ula McCollum.

Ray was a farmer for all of his life, working hard everyday. One of his greatest passions was being able to take care of his cattle. Ray was a one of a kind Dad, Husband, and Grandpa. He always cherished getting to spend time with his family. In his spare time, Ray loved to go hunting and fishing, but also loved to be able to just talk. Ray will be forever missed but always in our hearts.

Ray is Survived by: his wife, Evelyn Coble; children-Tammy Doane and her husband Frank, Pam Coble, Danny Coble and his wife Lisa, and David Coble and his wife Jennifer; sister, Laura Putney; brother, Alan Coble and his wife Brenda; grandchildren, Kendra Clark and husband Dan, Cara Sutton, Sondra Boyer and husband, Brandon, Tara Lewis and husband Chris, Katie Coble and Hailey Coble; great-grandchildren, Kaelyn, Connor, Camdyn, Alexa, Addison, Alex and Ava.

Ray was preceded in death by his father, George Coble; mother, Ula McCollum; and sister, Ruth Barnes.

A viewing will be held at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 10:30 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home.
