A special meeting of the Eureka City Council was called for Friday, Dec. 29, 2023 to afford for interview of a candidate for the City Administrator position.
A 30-minute executive session was held for interview of the applicant, with Deputy Clerk Kristi Stapleford and applicant Loren Wools, who currently serves as Associate Director of Public Works-Land.
Following the session, 15 additional minutes for the same subject were taken with the same individuals remaining. After returning to regular session, a 5-minute executive session for discussion of personnel was taken with just the council remaining. No action was taken following the session.
Councilman Kevin Lawrence was absent.
