Members of th Elk County Wrestling (ECW) club participated in the Circle Classic last Sunday, Jan. 7, in Towanda.
Following are the individual match wins for ECW participants: 6U Girls 45-52: Skylee Edwards placed 4th. She won by fall over Chloe Boese (Chaparral Kids Wrestling Club) (Fall 2:23); and won an 18-13 decision over Camdyn Fussell (Halstead).
6U Boys 52: Konlee Bidwell won by fall over Kaydenn Winn (Eureka Wrestling Club) (Fall 1:51).
8U Boys Open 80: Tristen Mast placed 3rd. He won by fall over Trenton Beckett (Triumph) (Fall 1:20); and won by fall over Trey Ashworth (Circle Wrestling Club) (Fall 0:19).
10U Girls 65-70: Autumn Love won by fall over Bonnie Reese (El Dorado Wrestling Club) (Fall 2:55); and won by fall over Briar Wilkin (Wichita Blue Knights) (Fall 0:42).
10U Girls 95-100: Pyper Ford placed 2nd. She won by fall over Cambrigh Jones (Circle Wrestling Club) (Fall 0:49); won a 15-0 tech fall over Quinn King (Circle Wrestling Club); and won a 7-0 decision over Cali Driskill (Iron Grapplers Wrestling Club).
10U Boys Novice 67-70: Maverick Ford placed 2nd. He won by fall over Josue Moreno (Team Haysville Wrestling Club) (Fall 0:35); and won a 9-2 decision over Kent Cox (Team Haysville Wrestling Club).
10U Boys Open 8590: Kash Bidwell placed 2nd. He won a 4-0 decision over Sawyer Sills (Derby Wrestling Club); and won by fall over Braeden Weeks (Newton Wrestling Club) (Fall 1:39).
10U Boys Open 120: Raylan Wunderlich placed 2nd. He won a 7-0 decision over Nash Gaskill (Circle Wrestling Club); and won by fall over Kyle Nance (Brawlers) (Fall 2:29).
10U Boys Open 130: Kyler Wunderlich placed 4th. He won a 4-2 decision over Brixton Byerley (Chanute Wrestling Club); and won by fall over Doak Mayo (Chaparral kids wrestling club) (Fall 0:17).
12U Girls 95: Emma Baumgartel placed 2nd. She won by fall over Hollis Hebert (El Dorado Wrestling Club) (Fall 1:07); won by fall over Lakin Love (Elk County Wrestling) (Fall 0:25); and won by fall over Aaliyah McGinty (Smoky Valley Wrestling Club) (Fall 0:14).
12U Girls 95: Lakin Love placed 3rd. She won by fall over Aaliyah McGinty (Smoky Valley Wrestling Club) (Fall 2:56); and won a 12-7 decision over Hollis Hebert (El Dorado Wrestling Club).
Also representing ECW were Jayce Baumgartel, 6U Boys 37-40 and Dakota Ghramm, 12U Boys 76-80.
