Annual Eureka Herald Holiday Coloring Contest Held

The Eureka Herald hosted their 15th Annual Holiday Coloring Contest this December, with a total of 27 individuals of all ages participating. The contest included five age groups; four and under, five to seven, eight to 12, 13 to 17 and 18 and older. The color page was available in The Eureka Herald’s November 29 issue.

The Eureka Herald hosted their 15th Annual Holiday Coloring Contest this December, with a total of 27 individuals of all ages participating. The contest included five age groups; four and under, five to seven, eight to 12, 13 to 17 and 18 and older. The color page was available in The Eureka Herald’s November 29 issue.

Those placing first and second in their divisions received a goody bag, including a gift card to Sonic Drive-In.

Following are this year’s winners:

Four and Under: 1st place - Vivian Oelke.

Five to Seven: 1st place - Brenton Wade; 2nd place - Jethro Moralina.

Eight to 12: 1st place Bentley Wade: 2nd place Tyler Nutsch.

13-17: 1st place - Christian Lewis; 2nd place Westin Nickelson.

18 and Older: 1st place - Kelley Davidson; 2nd place - La Taqueria B&B.

New this year was a “Most Creative” category with top honors going to Abbey Zimmerman.

Moving forward, participants will have the option to compete in the age divisions (simply painting or coloring the image) or enter in the most creative category.
