After making an early arrival in 2023, five-month-old Maverick Dean Guy appears to be unfazed with all the excitement that the new year brings.
The laid-back young master was born July 25, after his mother suffered a placental abruption, at seven-months pregnant.
Despite his much quicker arrival, Maverick is both a healthy and happy baby boy.
Maverick was born on July 25, 2023 at Wesley Medical Center, in Wichita. He weighed 3 pounds, 8 ounces and was 16 inches in length, at birth, and stayed in NICU for 45 days. At his five month appointment, Maverick weighed 12 pounds, 8 ounces and was 23 inches long.
Maverick’s mother, Ericka Bumgardner, is an assistant manager at Casey’s General Store, in Eureka. His father, Chris Guy, works at Wal-Mart in El Dorado.
Maverick is the grandson of Bill Bumgardner of Eureka, Heather Grothe and Alan Huffman of Chanute and the late Natalie Bumgardner.
