Crosswinds Looking To Bring Big Brothers/ Big Sisters To Greenwood County

With hopes of mirroring the Butler County Big Brothers/Big Sisters program, Crosswinds in Eureka is seeking volunteers that would like to serve in those roles. As the Butler County program doesn’t extend to Greenwood County, volunteers are needed to serve those children that are wishing to spend time with big brothers/big sisters.

The requirements for the program include: being 18 years of age, having a valid driver’s license and having access to a car with insurance. The program will cover the cost of the activities that are planned with the “little” brother and/or sister that you are paired with.

Those volunteering will be able to choose how often they meet with their littles. They can meet on weekdays or on weekends and schedule outings once a week, every other week or even once a month. For more information contact Amanda Dowling at adowling@ crosswindsks.org.
