Here it is four days until Christmas! Where has this year gone? And, with this weather it doesn’t even feel like Christmas. If you’re traveling this weekend be extra careful. They are predicting something like 117 million people will be traveling by car this weekend.

Here it is four days until Christmas! Where has this year gone? And, with this weather it doesn’t even feel like Christmas. If you’re traveling this weekend be extra careful. They are predicting something like 117 million people will be traveling by car this weekend.

That’s a lot of cars on the road and people will be distracted by the excitement of the holiday and their cell phones. Please drive safe and put your phone in your pocket.

We offer our sympathy to the families of John Cummins and Mary Holladay, who passed away last week. We offer our sympathy to all others who lost loved ones this past week. May they all rest in peace.

Hello to all in area nursing and assisted living facilities. Hello also to all in area hospitals and rehab centers. The Toronto United Methodist Church will be having their annual Christmas Eve service Sunday evening at 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of your church affiliation. Come join this beautiful service and learn the reason for the season.

The weatherman says we aren’t going to have a white Christmas this year; it is going to be wet though. If you get up early Christmas Day and look outside you might get to see a sparkling morning. That is if it isn’t raining.

Frosty mornings are sure pretty when everything is sparkling due to a layer of frost on everything. But you have to be quick to see it before the sun melts it away.

Me, Wade and Punky wish y’all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday, Happy Hanukkah or whatever you celebrate. Celebrate with your loved ones and be careful if you are on the road.
