The Eureka Saddle Club held their year end award banquet on Wednesday, December 13 at the Greenwood Hotel. A potluck meal was served before awards were handed out.
Every member received a head stall that was engraved with 2023 Eureka Saddle Club by Frakes Trading Co.
First through fourth place also received prizes in each age group. First place won a custom belt buckle, second place received $50 cash, 3rd place won a bucket and scoop from Woodard Mercantile and a bag of feed from Ranch Aid was awarded to the fourth place.
Year End Placings are: 6&Under Lead Line: Hope Perrier - 1st, Buster Bogle - 2nd, Courtney Turner - 3rd, Jace Decker - 4th.
6&Under: Aspen Greenwood - 1st, Trey Brenton - 2nd, Ella Burke - 3rd, Allie Knowles - 4th.
7-9: Mayley Decker - 1st, Clara Greenwood 2nd, Tony Brenton - 3rd, Carver McDonald - 4th.
10-13: Mason McDonald - 1st, Brentley Decker - 2nd, Mesa Greenwood 3rd, Henry Perrier - 4th.
14-18: Skylynn Wells 1st, Hannah Perrier - 2nd, Alex Scribner - 3rd, Lyle Perrier - 4th.
A special gift was presented to President Justin Decker. Shodeos will resume in the spring of 2024.
