West Elk hosted Neodesha last Tuesday, December 12.
The varsity boys trailed 11-14 after the first quarter, but added another 11 points in the second quarter to end the first half up 22-19. The Patriots doubled their score in the third quarter, with six players combining for 22 points, 12 of those by Maddex Moreno. They added 12 points in the fourth quarter to seal their 56-40 win over the Bluestreaks.

On Friday, December 15, the Patriots traveled to Fredonia to take on the Yellowjackets. The Lady Patriots fell, 37-40 and the boys lost to Fredonia, 48-65. Additional results from the match-up were unavailable at the time of publication.
