To Play In USSSA Nationals

With a combined eight years of competitive softball experience, Eureka sisters Keira and Khloe Crisswell will play in their first USSSA Nationals tournament over the holidays.

With a combined eight years of competitive softball experience, Eureka sisters Keira and Khloe Crisswell will play in their first USSSA Nationals tournament over the holidays.

The girls will compete in Viera, Fla., and will be representing Kansas. Both were nominated for the tournament by coaches following the All-State Tournament this fall.

Keira will play center fielder for Kansas at the national tournament. She is a junior at Eureka Junior/Senior High School and is the 17-year-old daughter of Clay and Jenny Crisswell. She plays travel softball with Motley Crue, out of Wichita. This is her sixth year of playing competitive travel softball.

Khloe will be pitching for Kansas at the national tournament. She is a fifth grader at Marshall Elementary School and is the 11-year-old daughter of the Crisswells. She plays for Kansas Nitro Luce out of Wichita. This is her second year of playing competitive travel softball.

Both girls started playing t-ball at four-years-old. They are the granddaughters of Larry and Sue Hurt, Tami Jackson and Gary Crisswell.
