Area churches have planned events to observe the celebration of the birth of Christ this holiday season. The public is invited to attend the church or churches of their choice and hear the Christmas story as it is related through scripture. All are welcome to attend services. Those attending do not have to be a member of any of the churches.
Reece Christian Church
(1303 E. 40 Road, Eureka) Reece Christian Church invites you to join them for Christmas Service, Sunday, December 24, at 11 a.m. Finger food reception to follow.
Christ Lutheran Church (315 N. Elm, Eureka, KS 67045 and Upper Fall River) Christmas at Christ Lutheran Church will be celebrated with a Christmas Eve candlelight service Sunday, December 24 at 6:30 p.m.
Eureka United Methodist Church (521 N. Main, Eureka)
Eureka United Methodist Church will hold a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 6 p.m. December 24.
The Rock Church
(717 N. Main Street, Eureka) All are invited to celebrate the birth of Christ at The Rock Church. Their inaugural Christmas service since joining the community will be held on December 24 at 10:30 a.m. Sunday school kids will present a play as the story of the birth of Jesus is read. All are welcomed to enjoy Christmas songs with the congregation.
