Special Meeting Held By City Council

A special meeting of the Eureka City Council was held Friday, December 15 to afford for lease negotiation pertaining to the Lieutenant William M. Milliken Airport.

A special meeting of the Eureka City Council was held Friday, December 15 to afford for lease negotiation pertaining to the Lieutenant William M. Milliken Airport.

Following the call to order, an executive session for the duration of 30 minutes was held to afford for legal discussion. In addition to city officials, the executive session included John Ferguson and City Attorney James Watson. A second session for the duration of 15 minutes was held for the same subject with members of the council and Watson. After a final 5-minute executive session with legal counsel and Ferguson for the same subject, the meeting adjourned with no action being taken.

Councilman Jason Brandt was absent from the meeting.

The next regular meeting of the Eureka City Council will be held Wednesday, December 27 at 7 p.m.
