Members of the Eureka City Council convened on Friday, December 8 for a special meeting to afford for the interview of City Administrator applicant, Edward Patton. After introductions were made to city officials, an executive session was held for the duration of 30 minutes, with City Clerk Renee Burk also in attendance. Following an additional 10 minutes with the same individuals remaining, appreciation was voiced to Patton for his interest in the position.
Councilman Kevin Lawrence was absent from the meeting.
Additional interviews with potential candidates are slated to be held in the coming weeks.
