The Eureka Music Club met on November 13 at the Christ Lutheran Church, in Eureka, with 15 members present. Copresident Sheri Hall held a brief business meeting.
Grace Stacey headed the Music Program. Musical numbers performed were: piano solo, “He Touched Me” by Marla DeGraffenreid; vocal solo, “Bless This House” by Pat Surber, accompanied by Jean Edwards. Newest member, Leeann McKee did a piano solo, “Black Cat Strut,” and a poem was read by Joyce Saunders, “Black Thursday, A Turkey’s Lament.” Mary Ellen Forbes accompanied herself singing, “The Green, Green Grass of Home,” and Sheryl Moody played a piano solo, “Give Thanks.” The program was concluded with Margaret Spires playing the piano and leading members in singing “Let All Things Now Living.”
Music Club will next meet on December 11 at the Christ Lutheran Church.
