Loretta Louise Lasiter of Eureka, died on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center, in Wichita, at the age of 63. She was born on August 17, 1960, in Princeton, New Jersey, the daughter of William Henry and Doris Loretta (Wilkinson) Robey. She was raised all over Kansas, graduating from Circle High School in Towanda. After her schooling she completed training to become a CNA and worked at various nursing homes. In the early 80s, Loretta was united in marriage to Ricky L. Lasiter in Phoenix, Ariz. They made their home in Phoenix. To this union, one son was born. They later lived in Arkansas before coming to Eureka.
Loretta was a very private person. She loved animals and she loved to color. Especially her favorite color purple. Her family was everything to her. She was a past attendant of the Eureka Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Rick of the home; and two sisters, Myrtle Sturdivant of Wichita; and Nancy Ledesma of Eureka.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, William Eugene Britain; and brothers, Donald William Robey, William Walter Robey, John Hall Robey, and Gerald Richard Robey.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 8, at Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka, with Pastor Kevin Lawrence of the Climax United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation has been effected.
