Seimears Won Pistol In Legion Fundraiser

The American Legion Post 124-Madison held a fundraiser for a chancedrawing pistol recently with hopes of raising funds for the Veterans Memorial in Madison.

The American Legion Post 124-Madison held a fundraiser for a chancedrawing pistol recently with hopes of raising funds for the Veterans Memorial in Madison.

During a special meeting on November 12, committee members drew the name of Jonathan Seimears and on Monday, November 20, Seimears met American Legion members Bob Kimberlin and Commander Mike Mallek at Gary’s Pawn Shop in Emporia, where he was presented the Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol.

The Madison post meets on the first Monday of the month, at 7 p.m., at the Legion Hall in Madison.
