With hopes of bringing Christmas cheer to another, members of the Fancy Mustangs 4-H Club approved to adopt-a-child through Emprise Bank’s adopt-a-child program. The decision to sponsor a child came during the routine monthly meeting on November 1, at 6:30 p.m. Those serving on the leadership committee will be doing the shopping.

Also discussed in new business, the Fancy Mustangs plan to do a 4-H Showcase at Marshall Elementary School, in Eureka. The date of the event is to be determined.

The following officers provided reports: Treasurer Lylly Stapleford, Reporter Jersey Cox and Historian Luke Oltman.

The program consisted of a Parliamentarian tip from Mathan Oltman; project talks by Kinsley Cox (wall hanging) and J. Cox (cross stitch) and Gabe Oltman and Cinch Stapleford leading the club in song and recreation.

Club members were reminded of the Greenwood County Achievement Banquet on Tuesday, November 28.

The Fancy Mustangs 4-H Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month, with their next meeting being Wednesday, December 6, at 6:30 p.m., at the Neal Community Building.
