Area sports will kick-off this Friday as basketball players and wrestlers open their season.
Eureka Tornadoes
Eureka Tornado winter sports will begin action this Friday, as high school basketball teams will travel to Independence, with varsity action beginning at 6 p.m. and the Tornado girls wrestling team will travel to Burlington for their first mixer of the season. Matches are slated to begin at 3:15 p.m. The Tornado boys wrestling team will travel to Flinthills on Saturday, December 2 for their first tournament, beginning at 9 a.m. Eureka’s junior high basketball teams will begin their season next Monday, December 4, as they travel to Neodesha.
Madison Bulldogs
The Madison Bulldogs will host Yates Center this Friday, beginning at 5 p.m.
West Elk Patriots
West Elk will host Oswego, this Friday. beginning at 4 p.m. Patriot wrestlers will travel to Burlington for competition, beginning at 3:15 p.m.
