Christmas In Howard Event Planned

The annual Christmas in Howard event has been planned for Saturday, December 2.

The annual Christmas in Howard event has been planned for Saturday, December 2.

The day of fun will include photo sessions by Exposures Photography and Wagon Rides downtown both available throughout the day. Beginning at 9 a.m., Businesses will participate in an Open House event which will feature holiday specials.

Vendors will be set up in the Cox Building from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Beginning at 11 a.m., Santa will visit Batson’s Drug Store.

As the opportunity to make a live wreath concludes, session available from 1-3 p.m., a cookie crawl will begin at 3 p.m. at the main Benson Museum. Reservations for the wreath making session were requested for submission prior to November 24.

A lighted Christmas parade will begin at 6 p.m. Grand Marshals for the parade are Bill and Patsy Lanning. Line-up will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Wabash and Illinois. Following the parade’s conclusion, a Soup and Chili dinner will be held at the Cox Building. This will benefit local 4-H. Parade winners will be announced during the dinner.
