The Eureka Herald recently announced contest winners for the hidden object search that was featured in the October 18 edition.

With the support of local businesses, The Eureka Herald hid a total of 109 bats in the paper.

Cash prizes were awarded to the top two participants in each age category (4-6, 7-9, 10-12 and 13 and over). Following are the results from each age division.

Ages 4-6: 1st place, Car-son Swayden, 106; 2nd place, Tessa Nutsch, 98.

Ages 7-8: 1st place, Nevaeh Swayden, 101; 2nd place, Katelyn Nutsch, 98.

Ages 10-12: 1st place, Tyler Nutsch, 96; 2nd place, Jorja Beeman 88.

Ages 13 and Over: 1st place, La Taqueria B&B (Jackie Roldan and Pedro Becerra) 108; 2nd place, Kara Nutsch, 106.

Practice events are held monthly, with the next prize event being included in the March 27 edition of The Eureka Herald.

“Our primary goal of including these activities is to get children of all ages to pick up the paper,” stated editor Robin Wunderlich. “We want to keep the community informed and why not have fun in the process. We truly appreciate all of our readers,” she continued.

If you have a recommendation for a contest, call Wunderlich at 620-5835721, email news@eurekaherald. com or visit 822 E. River St., Ste 100.
