Harmony Sunflowers 4-H Club

The monthly meeting of the Harmony Sunflowers 4-H Club was held October 1, at the Christ Lutheran Church in Eureka and was led by Wylee Boulanger. The flag salute and 4-H Pledge were led by Duke Coulter and Noah Everly- Burtin. Roll call was “What do you cook for yourself?” and was answered by 18 members, four cloverbuds and two leaders.

Cody Johnson gave the treasurer’s report, Cort Decker gave the reporter’s report and Chason Gulick gave the parliamentarian tip on making motions. Annissa Boulanger announced that Christ Lutheran Church is looking for volunteers to help with the bazaar on November 18.

Leah Hobbs and Doris Decker gave a report on Chicken Poop Bingo for the fundraiser for the club.

In the leaders’ report, Shannon Rockhill discussed enrollment, the monthly newsletter from the extension office, meeting purple seal goals for the club and Junk in a Bucket. Mica Coulter discussed Breakfast with Santa coming up and the county achievement banquet being November 28.

In new business, C. Decker moved to do a float for Cattleman’s Day. Camden Wunderlich moved to donate to C. Johnson for Nationals. Tyler Wells moved to do Chicken Poop Bingo at Cattlemen’s Day.

Bryce Teter led the club in singing Head Shoulders Knees and Toes.

Natalynn Gulick gave a talk about doing project talks. Hadliegh Henley gave a talk about her photography pictures.

For recreation, the club set up for the club achievement banquet. In announcements, Michelle Johnson presented nine kids with gift cards for completing their record books.

The next monthly meeting will be held November 5, at 6 p.m.
