Lady Tornado golfer Annaliese Casper competed at 3-1A State in Hesston, earlier this week.
Casper qualified for the state tournament with a fourth place regional finish in Girard last week. (See related article elsewhere in this week’s edition.)
As of press time, Casper was still playing the back nine of the first round on Monday afternoon. If she finished the first day among the top six teams and the next 18 individuals or 54 total golfers plus ties, she would advance to day two, on Tuesday of this week.
