To end the National 4-H Week celebration, Harmony Sunflowers 4-Hers took part in the Kansas 48-Hours of 4-H Service Challenge.

The club took time to sweep and gather fallen leaves on the sidewalks of Main Street close to the Greenwood Hotel. The 12 members and five adults also constructed a small fall décor scene to bring a seasonal piece to Main Street in Eureka.

Research has proven that participation in 4-H has a significant positive impact on young people.

Recent findings from the Tufts University 4-H Study of Positive Youth Development indicate that, when compared to their peers, young people in 4-H are nearly four times more likely to contribute to their communities.

Greenwood County 4-H is a network of families that grows great kids.
