To Represent Eureka At 3-1A StateWrestling
A Eureka freshman will represent the Tornadoes at his first state tournament this week. Tornado Killian Harrington placed fourth at the Fredonia Regional and will join Lady Tornado junior Harlie Owings and sophomore Maela Neill in Hays this Friday-Saturday, Feb. 28-March 1, for the state tournaments.
Harrington (6-11) claimed hardware in the 285-pound weight class. He will face Brody Chambers of Gypsum (36-4) in the opening round on Friday, which begins for 3-1A Girls and Boys at 9 a.m.
A special state send-off will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 11:15 a.m.
Also representing the Tornadoes at the Fredonia Regional were seniors Ethan Bauer and Kadin Deshane and freshman Fisher Hobbs.
